Our Mission: Proclaiming the Gospel

Hillcrest Baptist Church in order to be obedient to the Great Commission and to truly be a New Testament local church must be a place that consistently proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel is simply “Good News” The Gospel is that Christ died on the cross, was buried in a borrowed tomb, and three days later rose from the grave! As a church family we must always keep the main thing the main thing-which is telling boys & girls, youth, adults, and seniors about salvation in Christ Jesus. May everything we do always include Gospel presentation and an opportunity for folks to accept Christ as their personal Lord & Savior. From Sunday School to AWANA, from WMU to Baptist Men, from our seniors to our Youth, from Regeneration to Henry Manor, and our many other ministries we must proclaim the salvation story and be a lighthouse to a sin darkened world here at home and to foreign lands. Let’s be an “open door” church (Rev. 3:8) and be the caring place where folks come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and enjoy the abundant and joyful life to the fullest! His Grace Is Amazing!
