WMU (Women On Mission)

The Hillcrest Baptist W.M.U. is a group of ladies, dedicated to missions locally and abroad. We are a small group and meet the first Monday of each month at 1:30pm in the fellowship hall. At our meetings we study and learn about missionaries locally and around the world. We have a prayer calendar  with the names and locations of missionaries and have prayer time for them.

Every year we have offerings for the church to participate in. In March we have the Annie Armstrong Offering dedicated to North American missions, in September we have the Golden State Offering (TN missions), in October we have a Samaritan’s Purse Shoe Box Drive (toys for children abroad), and in December we have the Lottie Moon Offering which serves international missions.

Locally we support the women’s shelter C.E.A.S.E., the Youth Emergency Shelter, Daily Bread food kitchen, and the Pregnancy Crisis Center.
